2. Data Subjects
The register includes representatives of public administration and companies, as well as private individuals, whose customer relationship or other relevant connection is based on dealings with Rantaseiri Oy or Sunniemen Pajutila.
3. Purpose of Processing Personal Data
The register is maintained and personal data is processed based on:
- a customer relationship, or
- the data subject’s consent (marketing permission)
Personal data is processed for the following purposes:
- managing and developing customer relationships
- delivery, processing and archiving of orders
- offering and developing products and services
- carrying out and monitoring customer and marketing communications
4. Personal Data Stored in the Register
The customer register contains the following information:
Contact details:
- name, address, email address, phone number
- Business ID, VAT liability
- contact person’s name, address, phone number and email for public administration, companies and associations
- invoicing contact details and procedures
Customer information:
- customer identifiers and customer number
- information on purchased products and services
- information on product deliveries
- discussions with the customer, information received, and guidance/advice given
5. Rights of the Data Subject
Requests concerning these rights must be made to the contact person of Rantaseiri Oy.
Right of access
The data subject may check what personal data we have stored.
Right to rectification
The data subject may request correction of incorrect or incomplete data.
Right to object
The data subject may object to processing if they believe personal data has been processed unlawfully.
Right to prohibit direct marketing
The data subject has the right to prohibit use of data for direct marketing.
Right to erasure
The data subject may request deletion of data if processing is no longer necessary.
We will process the request and either delete the data or provide a justified reason why deletion is not possible.
The controller may have a statutory or other legal right not to delete requested data.
Accounting records must be retained according to the Finnish Accounting Act (Chapter 2, Section 10) for 10 years, therefore accounting-related data cannot be deleted before that period expires.
Withdrawal of consent
If processing is based solely on consent and not, for example, on customer relationship or membership, consent may be withdrawn.
Right to restriction of processing
The data subject has the right to request restriction of disputed data processing until the matter is resolved.
Right to lodge a complaint
The data subject has the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Ombudsman if they believe we violate applicable data protection legislation.
6. Regular Sources of Information
Customer-related data is collected directly from the customer when contacting Rantaseiri Oy or Sunniemen Pajutila, during use of products and services, customer service situations, and when participating in training, surveys or research arranged by the controller.
Personal data may also be collected and updated from official sources and other companies within limits permitted by law.
7. Regular Disclosure of Data
As a rule, data is not disclosed for marketing purposes outside Rantaseiri Oy or Sunniemen Pajutila.
8. Duration of Processing
Personal data is processed and stored mainly for as long as the customer relationship is valid or as required by law.
9. Processors of Personal Data
Personal data is processed by persons working at Rantaseiri Oy and Sunniemen Pajutila.
Processing may also be partly outsourced to a third party, in which case contractual arrangements ensure that personal data is processed in accordance with current data protection legislation and otherwise appropriately.
10. Transfer of Data Outside the EU
Personal data is not transferred outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.
11. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling
We do not use personal data for automated decision-making or profiling.
12. Changes to the Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy by informing about changes through our services.
Changes may also be based on changes in legislation.
We recommend reviewing the contents of the privacy policy regularly.
